Celebrating the International Day of the Deaf Marathon in the Arab Republic of Egypt,

• The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Committee in the Rotary District (No. 2451 / for the year 2023-2024),
headed by R. S. Omnia Tantawi and under the auspices of the Governor of the Rotary Region, Eng. Ayman Nazih,
in cooperation with the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, Dr. Iman Karim, the Federation of Deaf Associations in Egypt, the Arab Foundation for the Hearing Impaired, the Good Hearts Channel, the first channel for the deaf by the artist Ismail Farghaly, and the Umniah Misr Foundation for Development to care for the deaf and hard of hearing. A marathon for the deaf and hard of hearing
was arranged in cooperation with associations and schools for the deaf and hard of hearing through more than 40 Rotary Clubs. In Egypt and the Rotary clubs of the governorates and regions in the world, through archaeological tourist sites and distinctive places in the governorates of Egypt to encourage tourism in Egypt and the world.
The marathon will start at exactly ten o'clock in the morning Cairo time in all governorates of the Republic until reaching the location of an exhibition for their products,
with prizes being presented to the winning contestants. With media coverage from Egyptian television, satellite channels affiliated with the Egyptian government, tourism, and social media platforms of the participating parties, and the broadcast will also be to some Rotary regions in the world for the participating countries.
